We had a full, enjoyable day experience this year at the atmospheric and sunny Petrezas Tower on the occasion of the Great Red Wines 2022.
2022 was the first time in the seven years that we have been organizing, together with Vinetum, the Big Red Wines without rain! And this gave us an even more enjoyable experience as the tastings of great wines alternated with moments of relaxation on the terrace of the Petrezas Tower and the beautiful awnings that we had set up in the garden and were decoratively curated by Dimitra Belmpa and Markos Machairopoulos (MRCO-Creative Event Design & Management).
The people flooded the wonderful hall without a moment of overcrowding. At the same time they enjoyed the sunshine on the terrace, but also Le Petit Bistrot which served casual-fast food along with Three Cents premium Greek soft drinks, top choices from Taf coffee and Duboeuf’s newly launched Beaujolais Nouveau.
The Greek gastronomic water Doubia was everywhere, resting our palette to welcome the great wines of the exhibition
and the delectable dishes prepared by chef Miltos Kioukas at the beautiful pop-up restaurant Grand Cru of the exhibition that operated with consecutive seating from noon until the evening after the closing of the exhibition.
The most important Greek producers were with us with their flagship reds, rare off-market bottlings and precious, hard-to-find old vintages. At the same time, a large number of truly iconic labels from the international vineyard brightened up this year’s Big Reds with their presence, the biggest to date!
At the end of the exhibition, we organized a parallel cigar-event that completed this multi-dimensional experience we had set up this year. There, we sampled the newly arrived Partagas Legados Edicion Limitada 2020, paired with Veroni vermouth from “Ktima-Vineyard of Kir-Giannis” with Three Cents Dry Tonic, Port Ramos Pinto Tawny 30yo & Mavrodafni Grande Reserve 1979.
See you at the next Great Red Wines and #fnlevents to come!
